01.01.2010: Acquisition of www.roadvision.com domain

ROADVision, a leading provider of efficient software solutions for the LTL trucking industry, announces the acquisition of the roadvision.com domain name and the subsequent introduction of its new, re-designed web site. The new web site will feature updated content, easier to use navigation, in-depth information on partner integrations, and all of the latest news from our development team, our customers, and the industry. In addition, there are plans to introduce a secure customer portal in 2010.


11.01.2009: Partnership with People Net is announced

ROADVision, a leading provider of efficient software solutions for the LTL trucking industry, announces it has partnered with PeopleNet, a leading provider of integrated onboard computing and mobile communications management. As the cornerstone of this new partnership, ROADVision will be introducing a full functioning interface during the first quarter of 2010. In concert with PeopleNet’s onboard tracking and communications, the ROADVision LTL Dispatching module will have automatic real-time updates of current GPS locations, arrival and departure times, signature capture, and shipment exceptions. In addition, drivers will receive newly assigned Pickup Orders automatically and in real-time.

ROADVision, a leading provider of efficient software solutions for the LTL trucking industry, announces that it has become a Conference Sponsor for the 2010 SMC3 Winter Conference to be held January 18-20 in Atlanta GA. The 2010 Conference is titled Jump Start: Supply Chain’s Look Ahead is one of the leading LTL events each year and features top-notch presenters providing timely industry, economic, and geopolitical updates. For the LTL industry, this is a must-attend event and ROADVision is proud to be a part of it.


09.30.2009: ROADVision team volunteers for ABC’s Extreme Home
Makeover Edition


When ABC Television’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition came to the Upper Valley in September of 2009, the call went out for volunteers to help rebuild the Marshall family’s Lyme NH home. The ROADVision staff, along with many other Computac employees, answered the call. Throughout an entire week, all of the family’s belongings were moved out, their crumbling home demolished, and a brand-new home built. Volunteering to help on an immense project like this was not only fun and exciting but also is one of the many ways ROADVision’s people give back to the community throughout the year.


06.01.2009: Speed Trac Technologies interface is released

ROADVision, a leading provider of efficient software solutions for the LTL trucking industry, announced that it has partnered with Speed Trac Technologies, developers of automated weighing and invoicing solutions, to create a fully integrated re-weigh system that will help our customers increase revenues and dramatically improve employee productivity and overall profitability. Re-weighs are automatic and fully integrated into ROADVision’s billing and invoicing system in real-time to capture lost revenue from understated bill weights. The system was beta-tested in several terminal locations at Brown Transfer, a premier Midwest LTL carrier based in Kearney NE, and is now fully operational there.
